EEG has tremendous sensitivity to neural activities, and impressive specificity to alterations caused by various psychiatric and neurological disorders. When combined with cutting-edge pattern classification techniques, it is a promising tool for translational diagnostics. However, it is very hard for one lab to gather enough data to realize this potential. Thus, PRED+CT was born. We hope to offer one-stop-shopping for task executables, open-source data storage, and computational tools for post-processing and classification.
There are a number of data repositories for imaging data, and patient-specific data. However, there are very few sites that offer patient-specific EEG data, and none that are arranged as PRED+CT for the purpose of patient classification.
