How do I cite PRED+CT? - See our paper in Frontiers in Neuroinformatics

Why PRED+CT? - We intend to offer one-stop-shopping for tasks, data storage, and computational tools for classifying psychiatric and neurological patients based on EEG data. Link to About.

What kind of data are hosted here? - PRED+CT hosts EEG data in matlab format. All files will have fields for demographics (patient/control, age, sex) and there may be optimal fields as well (symptom scores, etc). These meta-data will either be in Matlab or Excel.

How do I download data? - All downloads are fully open source without registration. Link to Downloads page

How do I upload data? - Upload requests are managed by PRED+CT administrators to comply with de-identification and formatting. Link to Uploads page.

How do I classify data? - Many matlab-based classification scripts will be fully open source. Users are encouraged to upload their own classification scripts. Link to the Tools page.

What sort of task data are included? - This will depend on the dataset. To assist standardization and ease of operation, we have included downloadable task executables (Java-based, Windows 64 bit) that send triggers to an EEG system. Variants oddball, go/nogo, vigiliance, and flankers tasks are included at this moment. Link to executables.

How do I stay updated about new datasets? - Follow PRED+CT users on Twitter: #UNM+#PREDiCT

How is PRED+CT funded? - We began with a grant from the UNM OVPR. We are currently seeking funding to expand the site.

Why Matlab? - The EEG community, particularly the EEGLab environment is based in Matlab. We tend to leverage the EEGLab structure and many of the associated tools in our analyses. EEGlab is free to download (link as above) and many of our routines depend on EEGLab functions.

What if I don't have Matlab? - A number of open-source alternatives exist, including Octave. The user could re-write the routines using Octave or Python-based functions. Example GitHub project
